DRONE SAFETY INSPECTION On Monday, March 11, SSVEC will resume its safety inspection of power lines and poles to improve service reliability and reduce potential hazards. Drone equipment used for the inspections are compliant with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), and drone pilots are FAA certified. Poles and lines will be photographed. There will be no video/audio recording. Pilots and Visual Observers will be clearly identified, driving SSVEC vehicles, and carrying company identification.
