The Professional Fire Fighters of Sierra Vista, Local 4492 is a charter of the International Association of Fire Fighters, and represents 100% of uniformed firefighters of Sierra Vista Fire and Medical Services as well as uniformed personnel of the Emergency Medical Services Division.
Sierra Vista Fire and Medical Services operates three fire stations and one EMS substation, running approximatly 10,000 calls for service in 2023. They also provide two ALS ambulances for Emergency Medical Services on neighboring Fort Huachuca as well as automatic aid agreements with Fry Fire District.
PFFSV is active within the community with a long history of charitable endeavors, including donations for cancer research and prevention, youth leadership and development, local youth sporting teams, and Fill-The-Boot campaigns for the Muscular Dystophy Association.
