Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation MWR e As part of the 2018 Fun Festival, the 5 kilometer Mutt March will be held Saturday, Sept. 22 starting at 7:30 a.m. Bring your pet and participate in this fun event. Cost is $10 for pet and human. Refreshments and t-shirt are included, while they last. Also, vendors will offer pet-related items, services and information. Sign up for the Mutt March at the ramada at the southwest side of Veterans Memorial Park. The schedule for Friday, Sept. 21, is from 7-11 p.m., "A Hard Day's Night," a fantastically entertaining Beatles Tribute Band will perform; Saturday Sept. 22 from 6-8:30 p.m, enjoy "Walkens," playing classic rock; and Saturday, from 9-10:30 p.m., don't miss this chance to see and hear, "Starship" featuring Mickey Thomas--the owner of the soaring voice that propelled Starship through the decades of the 80s and 90s, with his soulful and compelling vocals! Sunday Sept. 23rd is Family Day and set for that day are: Dee's Karaoke from noon to 4 p.m., plus other free activities for kids, including hair painting, arts and crafts projects and lots more! Buy early and save! The price is $9 for 10 tickets in advance. During the carnival, the cost will be $12 for 10 tickets. Wrist bands are also available at all locations, for the price of $22 per day. During the carnival, cost of wristbands will be $25 per day. The Festival is set for Sept. 21-22-23 at Veterans' Memorial Park. The festival is open to the public and there is no admission charge.
